For most of my life, I thought intimacy was just sex. You know, the physical kind—wrapped in romance, fueled by lust, like the movies taught us.
But after three long-term relationships, casual flings, and a mountain of unresolved trauma, I realized intimacy goes so much deeper.
I spent years drowning in anxiety, depression, and the aftershocks of sexual assault. My body became a tool for approval, a way to seek validation through performance. I could unlock pleasure for my partners, but when it came to my own? I felt nothing.
The more I disconnected, the more numb I became.
Eventually, I hit a wall. I wasn’t just emotionally empty—I was physically empty, too. I convinced myself something was broken inside me. I hated my body. I considered surgeries. I searched for external fixes, praying they’d fill the void.
But deep down, I knew the truth: I had abandoned myself.
My healing began when I found somatic sex therapy—a practice rooted in Tantric tools, self-pleasure, breathwork, and emotional release.
It wasn’t about performing. It was about presence.
By holding space for the emotions I had buried for years, I began to feel again. I unlocked my sensuality. I reconnected to my body. I experienced pleasure—not just sexually, but emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
And I realized something powerful:
I wasn’t alone.
So many of us are taught to disconnect. To silence our desires. To live numb, chasing approval, while denying ourselves the depth of our own pleasure.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
With seven years of experience as a registered massage therapist, I’ve studied the body deeply. I’ve seen how stress, trauma, and emotions manifest physically. As a somatic sex coach and educator, I’ve blended this knowledge with embodiment practices that help you reconnect to your body and rediscover the pleasure that’s always been within you.
And now, as I train to become a certified breathwork facilitator, I’m expanding my toolkit to help you heal, feel, and thrive.
